The first ladder is the most coveted: the guys she would date and get to know on a different level. The second is the most crowded: the friend ladder. No matter how hard you try, it’s still extremely hard to get on that dating ladder. But I think what makes me mad most, is feeling like you don’t have a chance while some asshole at the top of the dating ladder breaks her heart. For all the patience and kindness you’ve tried to show her since the beginning, you only get her tears in return. The only thing you can do from the bottom of the ladder is hold an umbrella as you get rained on.

Fellas, don’t go for the easy girl. Don’t go for the girl that’s gotten around with your entire school. Go for the classy ones; the confident ones. The girls that have flaws are usually the ones that are most perfect. Don’t go for the girl that hides who she is with layers of makeup and pushup bras. Go for the girl that isn’t afraid to be herself; the one that wears pajamas when you’re just hanging out. You want to look for a girl that accepts who she is, not the girl that hides behind false facades.

You want to attract a guy? The key is confidence. I don’t know about other guys, but I don’t like girls that wear push up bras to get a guy’s attention. I don’t like girls that wear pounds and pounds of makeup. Showing cleavage is not a competition. You don’t need to act like a flirt to get our attention. Don’t dress like a cheap hooker either. Like I said, the key is confidence. Have some self respect. If you feel like you have to do any of these things to get a guy’s attention, then clearly this guy is not for you. Don’t go for a guy that appreciates your beauty. Find a guy that’s willing to look deeper and find the beauty within. Just be yourself; now that’s attractive.
