Yes. I am very bipolar. I’m sorry about what I put you through today. There’s no excuse for how I behaved, and for that I can’t tell you how regretful I am.

It seems as though lack of sleep, stress, and my hormonal imbalances got the best of me. I’m frustrated - that’s true, but I shouldn’t have put that on you.

You know, I really feel sorry for you. You have to deal with my crap - my mom, my restrictions, and my mood swings. No I’m not on my period, I just feel like at any moment, I’ll break down and cry. In times like these I really need you, but instead I just push you away. How do you do it? How do you put up with me?

In truth, I don’t deserve you. You’re patient, yet annoyed. You’re kind, yet blunt. But you still stick around. Why? I’m clearly not worth it.

The world may surprise you. In a society where romantic comedies project that vision of true love and that one perfect person, one must wake up, smell the roses, and remember that that’s not how it works.

Love is imperfect - it’s something you will struggle with. You’re going to have fights, you’re going to have differences. But ultimately, it’s the commitment and the passion that hold you together. Love comes and goes, it doesn’t only happen once. You could fall in love numerous times in your life, but the value of that love never changes.

You don’t necessarily have to fall in love with your girlfriend. Sometimes that never comes. That doesn’t mean your relationship is meaningless.

You can choose to want to be with someone without loving them. It’s that simple.

You’re the best thing that’s happened to me sophomore year. Period. It doesn’t matter how many fights we have, or how many pointless topics we discuss. It doesn’t matter that you get depressed easily. I’ll always be here to talk, I’ll always stand by you. This isn’t the guy with the ravaging pubescent hormones talking, it’s the friend. I’m sorry, I haven’t posted. I’ve just had some incredible things to do!

It’s that time of year, where you dwell on how fast the future comes and goes. It’s that time when you miss the people you’ve been with, and despise the people that are just joining. In truth, it’s that time when you wonder “What the hell just happened?”

So, with an empty mind and a full stomach, let’s just straighten some things out.

Grades - It’s like Space Mountain at Disneyland. Right when you think the ride’s the same like every other time you’ve ridden it, you always get that kick when you hit a surprise turn. Grades have made me emotional, I admit. But maybe in the end it’s all worth it.

Romance - Honestly, it’s been quite a headache. I remember in the beginning of the year, I asked myself, “Hmm, who should I like now?” -almost like romance was a decision i could just make. After many, many mistakes, I’m happy to be where I am now. Truc, if you’re reading this, I want you to know that you make me the happiest guy in the world. I know we’re not together, but you make me feel like I can do anything - as if the sky’s the limit there is no limit. I can’t say where we’ll be a year from now, but I hope it’s where we’re supposed to be. I’m not the easiest guy to put up with, and I’ve got a lot of baggage (parentals O:), but seeing you put up with it only makes me want you more (;. I’m sorry I’m a jerk at times. I don’t know how you do it, darling. But thank you for doing it.

Drama - Sophomore year was supposed to be easy, no? Yeah okay, the classes were pretty tedious, but the drama was simply overwhelming. Never have I been more scared of violence than this year, when I can simply say the configuration of my face was on the line. Don’t like to remember that time much.

Social Life - WHAT SOCIAL LIFE? No, I’m kidding. It’s getting better. I think I’ll be pretty occupied next year what with the ASB, Band, Brightening the World, French Club, Peer Listeners, and SAT Classes. Here come the acne breakouts!

All in all, I wouldn’t trade this year for anything. I’ve learned, I’ve grown, and I’ve conquered. Bring it on junior year. I’m ready for you.
